1    Making a reservation and booking
• Fill in the booking form to reserve your place on the tour you

   would like to take (June or September) and mail it to    irene@swiss-at-heart.com.
• Your reservation will be confirmed immediately.
• Following your down payment of CHF 1000.- your reservation   will be definitive and the unconditional reservation   confirmation from swiss-at-heart will conclude the contract.   With the confirmation you will receive a detailed tour

  programme decribing the services and containing information   allowing you to prepare for the trip as best possible.

• The deadline for the definitive reservation is March 31st 2010   for the June tour and May 31st 2010 for the September tour.

 

2   Prices
The total amount for the tour is CHF 5180.- ($ 4806.- / £ 3215.-) per person in the double room. Single room + CHF 450.-
($ 417.- /£ 279.- , exchange rate 9-3-10)

Early Bird Booking for the September tour before May 1st: CHF 4950.- ($ 4593.- / £ 3072.-)

For participants who do not need hotel accommodation and breakfast on days 1, 15 and 16, the price of the tour in the double room is CHF 4712.- (4512.- Early Bird Booking), in the single room CHF 4997.- (4797.- Early Bird Booking)

 

The following services are included
• all fares for trains, buses, boats, cable cars (from Zurich
    Airport to Zurich Airport)
• all transportation of luggage, from NH Airport Hotel to Hotel    Opera, Zurich
• hotel room • breakfast buffet • 13 dinners • 11 lunches/picnics.



 

   









• The swiss-at-heart tour guides will accompany you during the whole tour.
• all entrance fees to museums, venues etc. and guided tours by regional guides • all talks, concerts and small extras
• ticket for the gala night concert at KKL Lucerne
• a detailed documentation of the tour, maps, leaflets, literary texts (handed out on arrival day).

 

Not included are
• air fare from your destination to Zurich airport and return • two dinners • 4 lunches • drinks • tickets for Zurich Opera.


The prices listed in Swiss francs (CHF) in the contract are binding. A price adjustment is possible up to 30 days before the start of the tour, if surcharges, levies or taxes are introduced or increased, or if transportation costs are increased.

 

3  Terms of Payment
Down payment for the reservation CHF 1000.- payable by

March 31st 2010 for the June tour / May 31st 2010 for the September tour.
The remaining amount of CHF 4180.- (CHF 4630.- for single room) payable by
May 7th for the June tour/ July 30th for the September tour.

5a  Cancellation of the Contract, Cancellation on your part
In case of cancellation on your part you will be charged the following amounts:
up to 60 days:                     processing fee of CHF 100.-
59-30 days :                        50% of the total amount of the tour
29-8 days:                           80%
7-0 days and no-shows: 100%
Anulments must be made in writing to swiss-at-heart. For the calculation of the costs of a cancellation the date of the receipt is decisive.
If you cannot take part yourself, but are able to designate a substitute, who upholds your contract, no additional costs will be incurred.
If you have to cancel the tour at short notice or have to break it up at any point because of illness or an accident, or because of illness or the death of relatives, swiss-at-heart is under no obligation for compensation.

 

5b  Cancellation of the Contract, Cancellation on part of swiss-at-heart
If payment is not made on time, swiss-at-heart can withhold the service, cancel the contract and demand payment of cancellation costs as specified in 5a.
swiss-at-heart will have to cancel the contract if the minimum of 10 participants is not reached two months prior to the start of the tour. In such a case you will be refunded your downpayment of CHF 1000.- immediately.
If the tour has to be cancelled at short notice or cannot be continued because of force majeure or strike, swiss-at-heart is entitled to do so without compensation.

 

6   Liability
swiss-at-heart reserves the right to change the programme or details of service if unforseeable conditions (weather, road conditions, change of programme in venues) make this necessary. In such cases swiss-at-heart will do its best to offer good alternatives.
swiss-at-heart accepts no liability for unforeseeable conditions beyond its control or force majeure. Customers travelling with swiss-at-heart are responsible for their personal documents (passport) and for compliance with regulations regarding immigration, customs, visa etc.
swiss-at-heart cannot accept responsibility, if a customer arrives late at Zürich Airport.

 

7   Insurance
swiss-at-heart requests that you check your insurance coverage for cases of cancellation, premature return, illness, accident, loss or damage of luggage. Customers are responsible for their own adequate insurance protection.

 

8   Law

     Swiss law applies. Zurich (Switzerland) is agreed as the sole court of jurisdiction.
